BLENDit

You'll probably get sick of the same'ol stuff. You WILL get desperate. You WILL experiment. It's only natural. There's nothing to be ashamed of. People will shriek and squirm, but pay no attention.

This is where it gets fun! This only happens once! (hopefully)

Vegetable Lasagna

Different veggies, sauce, noodles, etc.

Review:
The ricotta cheese had a strong taste, but overall it was pretty good. Make sure you blend it warm. The noodles will get starchy if you warm them up after you've blended them. Add some V8 and/or extra sauce to liquify it a little more.

Pretty tasty. Mexican food is pretty consistent.

PB&J

Peanut Butter
Jelly
Bannana
Milk
Bread

Review
How can you go wrong with PB&J?!? Well, the only thing that I might do without is the whole grain bread. Or, you may need to blend it a little longer than usual. The peanut butter has a dominant flavor, so don't add too much.

Grilled Ham and Cheese and Tomato Soup

Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich

This was pretty good. Next time, I might leave out the ham. While, it was still good, the ham had a strong taste.

Spring Rolls

Spring Rolls (frozen)
Soy Sauce
Chicken Stock

#1 RULE: MAKE SURE THE BLENDER IS OFF OR THE LID IS ON WHEN YOU PLUG IT IN! OK, now that we've made that clear, I'd have to say this is the worst meal so far. I couldn't even finish it. WAAAYYYY too salty. Maybe I added too much chicken stock? Or, maybe it was just a bad idea!

Greek Salad

Romaine Lettuce
Olives
Tomatoes
Cucumber
Greek Dressing
Feta Cheese

Review
Again, the strong taste of the feta shines through. Again, this is not a "week 1" or "week 2" meal. Blending a salad takes some psychological motivation! Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad. The cheese taste and the vinegar in the dressing were obviously more present than anything else. Needless to say, I didn't finish it and I didn't come away feeling too fulfilled. So, I'm going to need a pretty hardy salad to get me to try this again. Check out the clips in the "videos" section.

Chili and Baked Potato

Wendy's Chili
Wendy's Baked Potato
Butter
Sour Cream

Review
Oh yeah, thank you Wendy! I didn't taste them individually. I poured the baked potato first (with added butter and sour cream), then added the chili. Super good! I had 2 servings worth. What a deal. Thumbs up.

Spaghetti and Sauce

Spaghetti Noodles
Marinara
Parmesan

Review
Couldn't get past the third sip. The noodles just became too thick and starchy. I did microwave everything AFTER I blended it, so maybe that was the problem. It was just too frothy. I added extra sauce, water, milk and still too thick. This one is a no-go.

Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken Wings (Wendy's)

Review
I had a craving for some wings! Yeah, they aren't the healthiest things in the world, but why not give it a try. Well, I did, and I wasn't disappointed. I added some beef broth for some extra flavor and it was perfect. The honey BBQ taste was definitely the strong taste in this meal, and it was well worth it.

Taco Bell Steak Soft Taco Fresco Style w/ V8

Review
Yeah, this wasn't the best. I think it would have been better with a hard shell. And, it wasn't warm enough. I wouldn't throw out Taco Bell all together, just skip on the soft shell stuff.

Mexican Something

Crispy Cream Cheese and Avocado Tacos (microwave = soft, oven = crispy)
Sour Cream
Salsa
V8
Chicken Broth

I don't know about this one either. It was OK. I finished it without a problem. It could have probably been a little thinner, but overall, needed something else. Help me out if you know or try something that works!

Little Caesar's Pizza

Pepperoni Pizza
Dab of Garlic Sauce

Review
For some reason, my wife LOVE'S Little Caesar's Pizza. It's a pretty good pizza, but when you live in Chicago? Anyway, this wasn't bad at all! Just make sure you don't water it down too much. For sure use some V8 or tomato sauce of some kind. Don't add too much garlic sauce either. It's pretty strong, so it'll kill it.
